What I don't get is these people who repeat the insurance company spin. Don't they get it that these companies have been the problem and don't care if anyone gets sick and dies, so long as they don't have to pay out any money for it? Good God, how cold blooded are these Republicans? It sounds like the only thing that they care about are their rich friends running these corporations. That is just sick!

I know that this is an emotionally charged issue, so I understand that you don't really mean to attack all Republicans. I'll agree with you that we have problems, but we still have one of the best health care systems in the world. I think that most people are against the quote Obamacare because they are afraid of seeing the government give us a third world health care system like Canada.

Oh come on Pet, the Canadians love their health care and wouldn't traded it for ours ever. All the stories that have been told about their health care are lies from the insurance industry that fear it. Face it, the insurance mob has been extorting money from Americans to the point that it is breaking us and now they are fighting with their every dying breath to stop reform.

My son in law is Canadian, they complain about their health care all the time, but try to take it away and watch out!!! He hates our system and can't believe how much things cost!

Isn't a right of all free people to complain about their governments? I don't believe for a minute that the Canadian system is as bad as Republicans make it out to be, but if there are faults that's just something to avoid. Why can't we take all the good points from all the health care systems around the world without the bad points? I think that our bad points are the insurance companies that are over charging and denying service. So, let's cut off the insurance industry and cover everyone.
