We are doing something new; we will be copying and pasting posts of predictions from other boards. We are doing this to so we can see which predictions come true. These posts will be identified by this the name of the poster and (c). Re:Predictions

Vice President Dick Cheney will resign his office, after which he will be seized by a mob of patriotic Americans and cast into the outer darkness to be torn to pieces by wild dogs. The relatives of all the birds and animals he murdered over a lifetime of huntin' will then devour whatever remains of him.
President George W. Bush will commit ritual, Japanese-style, self-disembowelment live on national television to atone for his criminal failure in Iraq. He will be lauded by his fellow Americans for finally doing at least one honorable thing -- after all other possibilities had been exhausted. The US economy will collapse. Republicans will blame it on the recent total eclipse of the moon, then try to figure out a way to make a buck off of other people's misery. President Pelosi will appoint a gay caterer as her Vice President, and America will soon be on its way to restoring its image as "the Beautiful." For instance, that hideous suburban sprawl just has to go. And wouldn't the White House look prettier in pink? Yes. Hillary Clinton will freeze solid while endlessly glad-handing voters on a street corner in New Hampshire in January . . . and nobody will notice the difference. Democrat Bill Moyers will be elected president in 2008; however, in a gesture of bipartisanship he will have appointed a Republican to be his vice presidential running mate, who will then assassinate him and seize power within minutes after he's sworn in. Oil will be 150 dollars a barrel. Re:Predictions

alberto will try to hang on but will ultimately 'fall on his White House issued sword" and resign to try and stop the currently investigations
Cheney will not resign and will continue to try and fend off an increasing number of subpeaona's issued to him and those close to him in the current administration. libby will lose both his bid to get a new trial AND his bid to get the current convictions overturned on appeal...he WILL go to jail because bush will not pardon him before leaving office. carol lam's investigation into (r) congressman Jerry Lewis' involement in the duke conningham scandals will continue and lewis will ultimately be indicted... and the current anti war rallies will take on a new look within a few months and no longer call for the end of the Iraq occupation but instead become very large raalies calling for the IMPEACHMENT of the President (and others) Bush will leave office in disgrace and bare the title as the WORST President in our nations history it will take at least 10 years to repair our international relations and longer to repair the fiscal damage the right has wrought on our nation.... there are my personal opinions of what the next few years will bring......i base them on recent history and the facts at hand...i did not use partisanism in forming these predictions because if i had the list would be longer... My predictions:
Under a cloak of secrecy, that Bush so loves, he and Cheney will be whisked away to a secret place and upon them shall be laid the torture tactics they have endorsed and placed into practice for others as no big deal. Before the "drowning tactic" can even be commenced they will both be squealing like stuck pigs, admitting the truth about everything they have inflicted on our people, our country and the world, and why. They shall be held accountable, along with their entire regime. Re:Predictions

I think Gonzales will step down. Maybe Chertoff will take his spot and another crony will head up Homeland (non)Security. I think Bush will want to continue to throw money and lives at the Iraq mess. Whether the whimpy Dems will fund it, who knows. Re:Predictions

President Bush will get weaker in his attacks on the Terrorist because of all the anti-war protesting. Basically to do what all the people want done. when He does this Iraq will get wrse and by the time the demov crates get in they will call all hon me and end the war then We here ibn America will have another baddy incident such as the twin towers and more lives lost because of all those chemical weapons of mass destruction that all say never existed. along with electrical oyutages in several places at once for days maybe even longer in the hottest time and no air conditioning many deaths because of this also. THERE will before all this a SHORT period of HOLLARING and PEACE PEACE will be heralded then the SHOE so t speak will fall and why?? BECAAUSE PEOPLE never saw it comeing and did not listen to those that are in the knowing of what we were fighhting in the frst place having heads in the sand.

I have read through all the predictions up to this point. What I see are not so much predictions as they are events people would like to have happen. This may not be bad. If someone wants something bad enough, they will usually work for it. Some of the predictions here will possibly come true, because some of them are already in the early stages, i.e., some of the legislation being worked on by Congress, and perhaps some events from the Judicial branch of government. Marty has only asked for predictions for the next 6 to nine months, or the end of this year.
Within that time frame, here are some of the things I see happening: We will continue to see Presidential hopefuls announcing their candidacy. We will see some that will drop out of the race Giuliani will continue to gain strength, but watch out for Romney. Edwards and Clinton will remain the top hopefuls for Democrats. Jesse Jackson will back Hillary, and may vie for the spot of her running mate. Are politics (both sides) ready for this? The arguments will continue about global warming with both sides asserting they are right. No major announcements will be made, and no progress either, about becoming oil independent. The current crop of hybrid vehicles will prove unsatisfactory and impractical. It was a good idea and good effort, anyway. By this fall we will be suffering higher unemployment as we go through a mild recession. For the housing industry, it could be pretty serious. That’s all I’ll say about finances and industry. It’s too early to pick the final Presidential candidates, and most certainly the winner. The smearing and mudslinging will become particularly vicious, and may force Congress to take legislative action. I hope Marty keeps tabs on everyone’s predictions and will let us know how they turn out. -T Re: Re:Predictions

THANK GOD ALMIGHTY THIS HAS A CHANCE of CHANGEING. With MANY MUSLIMS turning away from their ISLAMIC teachings. ONE BECAUSE of having been healed. Yet that is his testimony to give and does.

the NUMBER SEVEN is GODS DAY OF REST. and HE CALLED IT THE SABBOTH . BUT DID he make the SABBOTH FOR MAN? TO DO NOTHING ON SAT, SUNDAY, OR WED. OR DID HE just CALL IT THE SEVENTH DAY to GIVE US A NUMBER . a RESTING PERIOD IN TIME. HE IS the CREATOR OF time also.and we already know HIS time is never as ours . yet CLUES TO GODS timing is there to be known. I am not even going to try to explain what is already written for all to read . I have not the time nor the energy left in this day to do so. besides why should I when none really want to hear it anyway. this is another truth none like the truth .. well I personally would rather have truth then a lie told to me any day. BUT HEY .. who knows how to do that ????? WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES and we all FORGET and we all have sinned .. GOD DID NOT MAKE MISTAKES!! MAN has and mankind does.. GOD HAS not lied BUT MANKIND DOES. GOD NEEDS NOT TO REPENT OF ANYTHING .. BUT WE DO. and REPENTANCE means to TURN AROUND . go TOWARD HIM NOT AWAY FROM HIM. THE CROSS DOES HAVE A SIDE THAT OUR BACK IS TOWARD THAT CROSS. Well......in six to nine months I don't really seeing Iraq being that different. In the economy, I see housing continuing to do poorly and some recession overall. I think Hillary will lose the lead to Obama in the next couple months. Eventually, Obama will be the nominee and the president. Scooter Libby will cut a deal and release information about the others involved to shorten his sentence. As a result of this information becoming public, Dick Cheney will resign as vice president, and Bush's poll numbers will drop even lower. Bush will make a last ditch effort in mid 2008 to redeem his presidency and pull out of Iraq claiming the operation successful [even though the situation will be exactly the same then as it is now]. Republicans will say during the next election that Bush succeeded in Iraq, and that if Dem's pulled out in 2007 like they wanted, it wouldn't have succeeded.
